The Harmony Men have produced a new CD entitled 'Sing for Cancerbackup' which features 12 lovely songs, including Hello Dolly, Sailing, Blue Moon and a delightful selection of other very popular melodies. The CD is on sale at £10 and is available to purchase from either the Macmillan Cancer Support Jersey's Cancer Information Centre or from Nigel Crespel's Electronics within Voisin's department store and will also be available at all The Harmony Men concerts throughout 2010. All proceeds are to be donated to Macmillan Cancer Support (Jersey) in support of our service and work in Jersey. We urge you to purchase at least one of the CDs - they would make a lovely gift - and we would like to thank The Harmony Men and everybody involved in producing the CD for their generous support of our work, which is greatly appreciated.

Saturday 3rd July - The Macmillan Jersey Rowathon sponsored by The Royal Bank of Scotland International held a very successful day at the RJA & HS Royal Jersey Showground, Trinity which was enjoyed by thousands of people. All proceeds from the event will go to: Macmillan Cancer Support (Jersey) Macmillan Cancer Support (Jersey) Limited Registered Charity No: 129 (formerly Cancerbackup Jersey).

Saturday 8 May and Sunday 9th May - THREE MOUNTAINS IN 24 HOURS

A TEAM of journalists from the JEP and Channel 103 successfully completed one of the toughest walking challenges in Britain to raise money for two Jersey charities.

The team scaled the three highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales in just 24 hours.

The money raised for the trek - known as the Three Peaks Challenge - will be shared between Macmillan Cancer Support (Jersey) - formerly Cancerbackup Jersey - and Help a Jersey Child.

Sunday, 15th November Sunday Brunch at Hotel L'Horizon Hotel, St Brelade's Bay.Hotel L'Horizon is generously donating 50% of the Menu Price to Macmillan Cancer Support/Cancerbackup Jersey - further details will be added when available.

Thursday 15th October 2009, Jersey Flower Club presented "Creative Designs" by the renowned International Demonstrator, Tom Hodge at St Clement's Parish Hall the

proceeds of just over £1,000 were donated to Cancerbackup Jersey and we are most grateful to The Jersey Club for generously donating their ticket sales.

Friday 16th October 2009 The Cancerbackup Jersey Vistra Golf Day La Moye Golf Club

was very successful and raised £14,000. We are extremely grateful for Jersey Vistra's sponsorship and to the support of all the participants. The winning team, Fourplay, was presented with the magnificient Cut Glass Trophy by Denis Lanvin of Vistra -the sponsors of the event - and all pictured below:
